The Federation has recently become aware that the scope of competition project roles and the Federation’s corporate authority has not always been understood consistently. Competition project titles—including Chair, Deputy Chair, Representative Director and Board Member—are appointments for a named competition and a defined term. Their term ends when that competition concludes.

Authority to manage, make decisions for or represent the incorporated association is determined by the Federation’s current corporate registration, Articles of Association, valid resolutions and formal written authorisation. Official statements, discussions or agreements concerning external collaboration, and the establishment of any association, branch or other body in the Federation’s name are handled only by a person with the relevant authority or specific formal written authorisation from the Federation.

The Federation has not authorised holders of competition project roles to establish another association or agree external collaboration on its behalf. To keep communications clear and support confident partnerships, please check any proposal made in the Federation’s name through the official Federation contact point.

International Judges Federation

In accordance with the Federation’s Governance Rules, the terms of the competition-operating appointments created for this GBHC Competition, including Competition Chair and Competition Board Member, ended when the Competition concluded.

These appointments formed the operating structure established to support the smooth delivery of this GBHC Competition.

Full provisions on the terms, scope and arrangements following the Competition are set out in the Federation’s Governance & Collaboration Rules.

The Rules also cover use of the Federation’s name and professional network, collaboration with third parties and external activity carried out in the Federation’s name.

Before using the Federation’s name or a competition title to discuss organising competitions, partnerships or co-operation with external parties, please consult the Federation in advance. This shared framework keeps information consistent and supports confident collaboration.

To coordinate the preparation and delivery of the second Global Beauty Health & Culture World Championship (GBHC), to be held on 2 and 3 June 2026, the International Judges Federation has established the Temporary Operations Board for the Second GBHC Competition Project and confirms the following appointments:

Under the approved operations plan for this competition, the Temporary Operations Board may select and appoint Second GBHC Competition Project Directors and other operational personnel. It will coordinate the recruitment of participants and support personnel, allocate responsibilities, liaise between those involved and oversee on-site operations. Each appointment will identify the Second GBHC competition, the relevant responsibilities and the term of appointment, and will use the full project role title.

The roles named in this notice are competition project appointments created for the successful delivery of the second GBHC. Appointment to the incorporated association’s statutory offices, corporate voting and decision-making, continuing management, external representation and formal public communications are carried out by the relevant authorised persons and the Federation’s official contact point, in accordance with Japanese law, the current corporate register, the Articles of Association, valid resolutions and formal written authorisation.

As the three project leads for this competition, Yuko Akabane, Mieko Ishihara and Tetsuyuki Yamazaki will jointly form the operations team for the Second GBHC. Within their respective areas of responsibility, each may recruit the necessary personnel, appoint additional Second GBHC Competition Project Directors and operational personnel, and allocate specific duties. Each appointment must identify the Second GBHC competition, the relevant responsibilities and a term ending on 3 June 2026.

This authority applies solely to recruitment, preparation, liaison and on-site operations for the Second GBHC competition. For the incorporated association’s other affairs and the Federation’s external partnerships, and for the choice of partners and operating structure for any subsequent year or edition, the Federation will make a fresh decision for each new project and appoint the relevant project personnel separately. Participation in any other project will be based on a new formal written appointment issued by the Federation for that project.

The terms of appointment of the three members of the Temporary Operations Board, and of every person they recruit or appoint to a Second GBHC competition project role, will end at the formal close of the competition on 3 June 2026. The relevant work will then be handed over to the Federation’s official contact point.
